Taylor Morrison Homes Inc. has kicked off sales at its new gated community in Winter Garden, the Reserve at Carriage Pointe — the first of four Central Florida communities slated to debut this year.
The local division of the Scottsdale, Ariz.-based homebuilder has 90 lots up for sale with home floor plans ranging from 1,900 to 4,300 square feet, said a news release. Homes are priced from the mid $200,000s.
Additionally, all homes will feature The Interactive Home system — the builder’s home-monitoring system which includes camera monitoring, audio system, in-house intercom and programmable lighting controls all accessed from an LCD command center in the home or on a smartphone/tablet.
Taylor Morrison previously developed in Carriage Pointe and bought the lots in 2008 from a subsidiary of Royal Palm Homes for $5.4 million.
Taylor Morrison also ranked eighth among Central Florida builders with 256 home closings in 2012, as reported by Maitland-based Charles Wayne Consulting Inc.
